The sky opened up at last after a spell of hot summer in Chennai. What should have been a welcome shower is turning out to be a nightmare what with all the dugged up roads and half finished flyovers. But this blog is not for complains. people are caught by surprise as they beleived the opposite of our Ramanan's prediction.
As for me I beleived 100% in him and did'nt water my plants though tempted umpteen times.
Now they are soaked with pure showers and they also have something to dance for. yes! the thunders and lighnings do create a disco settings and the trees sway like the Mariamman dancers of our movies. the green tops of them flying up and down bringing a thrill to the spectators. speaking of spectators I doubt there would be any of them at all.
We are so used to being afraid of nature and also a little selfish we tend to ignore the beauty hidden in that.
All these i am talking about sitting cozily in my living room sipping coffee! Give me a Million dollar I won't bartar it for a venture outside..our street is flooded red and reminds me of the battle fields of yore. Children who were playing cricket so far switched to hop and splash a thrilling change indeed!
the rain abruptly came to an end now and I could see people wadding through the fresh puddles dying their dresses red. free of cost of course! some late starters have brought out their umbrellas. but so bad. no sign of rain any more.
the trees are dressed up for the evening may be. All wearing evening gowns ,different shades of greens designed by A la Naturethe great designer.they are awaiting the arrival of the Man. I mean Moon.
And I am out to inspect my just sprouting plants which are happy to be drenched. At least they may have nothing to complain about sudden rain.they are safe in their little pots ready to grow..
